My favorite literary piece throughout the project was "Alone" by Maya Angelou. Her writing was very relatable and easy to read. It also made good references to real life, and taught a life lesson that all people should know and embrace. I loved the way Angelou was able to pick such a large and hard to explain topic and put it in a poem which was so beautifully written and easy to comprehend. My favorite thread was the "We Wear the Mask" thread. Morgan, Abby, and JT all had very interesting points on this thread and opened my eyes to other possible meanings tht the poem might have. Besides my own opinion, the other opinions on this thread were strong and prominent and made me debate my views numerous times.
