My overall Favorite piece i read was "Alone" by Maya Angelou for a few reasons; I thought it was an easy poem to read and comprehend, I really connected to it, and the overall message was honest. The message of needing connections and relationships with others in order to survive and flourish in the world is very true. Materials may seem important but in the end its going to be those family and friends that will get you through hardships you might face in life. I read a lot of poetry, but this poem seemed to really stick out to me.
I felt that the "I,too" by Langston Hughes was a very proactive thread. There were a lot of comments and posts by different people. Overall, we seemed to have conveyed the same meaning of the poem. In general my peers seemed to have liked this poem as well. It had great flowing posts, and never seemed to be without another post after the previous.
