The piece that I enjoyed the most during this project was the poem "Still I Rise" by Maya Angelou. This poem was inspiring and the most positive one that I read with this poem. A similar poem that I liked during this assignment is "If We Must Die" by Claude McKay. While both are different but in a sense I believe they are similar because they both have to do with taking pride in oneself and both would make one proud to be who they are. "Still I Rise" and "We Wear the Mask" were the most interesting threads overall because I feel these two were the ones that people had the most to say about and it was fun to look at poems in different lights according to how others see them. Overall, most, if not all, of the ones that I read were very enjoyable and I had a fun time reading them.
