The literary piece I was most interested in was "Mother to Son," by Langston Hughes. This was my favorite because I could really relate to its message, since my parents have always gave me the same advice. They have alway said that at times isn't fair at all, and sometimes you just have to be persistant and keep pushing through it for it to turn around. I thought this same thread was the most productive, because we all shared our thoughts and saw where eachother was coming from.
